Wayne Rooney is dad to 20-month-old Kai
Wayne Rooney confidently strolled through Manchester airport yesterday with a surprisingly full head of hair.
The Manchester United footballer, who had a transplant to thicken his increasingly sparse locks in June last year, showed off a trendy hairstyle, dark and curly on top and cut shorter at the sides.
Wayne's new 'do demolishes recent reports that his ?30,000 operation had been a waste of money because his scalp was already thinning again.
The striker turned to Twitter in the summer to reveal that he'd undergone the procedure, which moves strong hair follicles from other areas to the front of the head.
'Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result,' Tweeted Wayne, now 26.
'It's still a bit bruised and swollen when it dies down u will be first to see it. Anyone recommend any good hair gel. Haha.'
